![]() I've been doing this for years with OneNote and am convinced that a lot of the lagginess you see is due to the app trying to synchronize every single pencil stroke or letter you type, as you're performing that action. Turn on Airplane mode when you're in class/lecture. One thing you can try, that's free, for OneNote. I have never asked for a refund this fast before. I feel like I tried every app out there but no app seems to be perfect for this task.Įdit: As a med student, fuck notability, I take back what I said about notability being better than goodnotes (in the comments if you wonder where I said that). + I like the individual features of the app like handwriting recognition and freeform pages but they don’t work with PDFs. Sucks at organization and importing PDFs containing more than 1 page is a pain. I’m sure I could open my notebook on my fridge if I want to You can’t choose the biggest page size AND import a PDF so that there is room to write outside of the PDF.
